Otark is a leading provider of digital solutions for renewable energy, in particular a digital B2B platform, software solutions, automated process structures and analyses, and the provision of specialist information and expertise.

Mission

Our mission is to create transparency in the energy market, to accelerate clean energy processes and transactions, which are required to provide the majority of companies with access to certified green electricity via PPA contracts.

The OTARK platform is the most innovative solution for buyers, sellers, consultants, plant owners and financing experts and other service providers of renewable energy sources.

Our home is Germany, so our focus is on the German market, but we are at home in Europe and the platform is therefore open to everyone

Martin studied business administration at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, in the USA and in Spain. He is a board member and advisor to several Venture Stars portfolio companies.

Moritz Borgmann has many years of management experience in the areas of research and development, management and transaction consulting and management. After co-founding a factory-less semiconductor company, he was a partner at the cleantech consulting firm Apricum and led numerous strategy consulting and transaction projects in the renewable energy sector for customers all over the world. Moritz most recently worked as Chief Commercial Officer of Swiss-German solar cell and module manufacturer Meyer Burger. He was part of the core team that orchestrated the strategic turnaround in 2020 and made the company the largest non-Asian manufacturer of silicon photovoltaic cells and modules. He has a doctorate from ETH Zurich and a master's degree from Stanford University, both in electrical engineering.

Kim Alexandra Dickel began her professional career in Investor Relations before moving into the Mergers & Acquisitions sector. There, she was involved in forty successful transactions before concluding investments in China and Europe as a partner for strategic contract negotiations. In 2019, she took over the global commercial management of QIAGEN's Molecular Diagnostics division with a turnover of 1.2 billion USD. In the course of this, she gained experience on the supervisory board of APIS Assay Technologies in Manchester. Kim Alexandra Dickel earned her degree in business administration with international qualifications from the University of Mannheim and the Ecole Supériore des Commerce in Montpellier, France. She is also undergoing further training as a psychologist with a focus on work, organizational and leadership psychology.

Stefan Judisch began his career in 1984 at Frankfurter Metallgesellschaft and quickly earned a reputation as an expert in commodity trading. At UBS, he set up trading in commodity derivatives, including the first electricity derivatives. In 1999, he moved to RWE, where, as founding managing director of RWE Energy Trading, he decisively shaped the development of the company and later took over the CEO position of RWE Supply & Trading. Under his leadership, the company became one of the leading energy traders in Europe. After retiring from full-time employment in 2015, Judisch served on several supervisory boards in the aluminum, energy and fertilizer industries as well as in the green hydrogen sector. As an investor in sustainable start-ups, he brings extensive expertise in energy trading, gas midstream business and strategic business development.
